Speaker Om Birla visited his constituency Kota for the first after his election

After being elected as Speaker for the second consecutive term in the Lok Sabha, Om Birla visited his constituency for the first time on Saturday. During his three-day tour of Kota-Bundi, Lok Sabha Speaker was warmly welcomed at various locations

Kota. After being elected as Speaker for the second consecutive term in the Lok Sabha, Om Birla visited his constituency for the first time on Saturday. During his three-day tour of Kota-Bundi, Lok Sabha Speaker was warmly welcomed at various locations. He also conducted an extensive road show in his parliamentary constituency.

Lok Sabha Speaker Birla arrived in Hindoli at around 10 am on Saturday via helicopter. He was welcomed by party workers upon his arrival. Following this, a road show and welcome procession for Speaker Om Birla commenced from Hindoli Government Polytechnic. He received a warm welcome at various points along the route from Hindoli to Kota. There are several scheduled welcome events for him in Kota as well.

It is worth noting that the route of Om Birla’s welcome tour from Hindoli to Kota is over 80 kilometers long and is expected to continue late into the night. While interacting with the crowd during the road show, Om Birla expressed his commitment to the development of his parliamentary constituency and Rajasthan, specifically discussing initiatives under the leadership of PM Modi at the center and the BJP government in the state, ensuring rapid progress in developmental projects and fulfilling promises made to the public.

When asked about the increasing number of opposition MPs and the functioning of the House, Birla emphasized the importance of maintaining a positive atmosphere in the House, encouraging constructive debates and open discussion of all viewpoints. Referring to a previous incident of discontent in the House during the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha regarding Rahul Gandhi, he stressed the expectation that all parties uphold parliamentary decorum.

In his interaction with the media, Birla reflected on how his experiences in Kota-Bundi and student life have enriched him with social and political insights. He acknowledged the love, affection, and blessings he received from the community, learning valuable lessons and facing challenges of the people in this region.

Looking ahead, he mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision has inspired his work and he remains dedicated to serving the public and addressing their concerns.
